Stormwater Management

Any building – residential or commercial – over 5,000 square feet of impervious surface must be approved by the Mercer Township engineering firm and additional forms completed before building permit approval.

 Completion of NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permit forms can be obtained from the DEP website at www.dep.pa.gov – Search NPDES permits. Scroll down to “Construction Stormwater”. 

Residential forms for any building less than 5,000 square of impervious surface will be completed and filed at the Township office.
